Delta Mu Delta Membership

Delta Mu Delta is an International Honor Society in Business.  DMD are the Greek letters in the Society's name and stand for Dia Matheseos Dynamis, signifying Delta Mu Delta's motto: Through Knowledge, Power - the power to manage creatively for social and economic good.

Becoming a member of Delta Mu Delta is an honor indicative of earnest, intelligent purpose and rewarding achievement.  To be considered for membership into the Alpha Iota Chapter of Delta Mu Delta, a candidate must be a College of Business major, have completed one full semester at Athens State University, and rank within the top 20% of the overall class.

The benefits of Delta Mu Delta membership are as follows:

Lifetime Recognition for Outstanding Academic Achievement
Delta Mu Delta membership provides recognition for a lifetime.  As the highest international recognition our business students can earn, it is appropriate to include Delta Mu Delta membership on one's resume and to wear the Key and display certificate with pride.

Many campus chapters provide opportunities for members to meet together with corporate leaders for networking opportunities and to hear speakers discuss current business issues.  All members can access our unique inCircle community, exclusive to Delta Mu Delta members.  Here you can create or join regional groups, business specialty groups, school or chapter groups, etc. In addition, employers offer job opportunities only to our high-achieving membership.
Scholarship Program
Students enrolled in the business program at a school with a chapter of Delta Mu Delta can be eligible to compete in the Society's annual scholarship awards program.  The Society annually honors academic excellence in the study of business to students across the country.
